Bring your body and voice to Berkeley City Council TONIGHT in support of the First they Came for the Homeless Tent Occupation!

WHEN: 7pm (meeting will go late - come whenever you can) WHERE: 2134 Martin Luther King Way, Berkeley

On the agenda are items about building tiny homes and about an emergency shelter...and yet the City Manager ordered a raid at 5:20 am of homeless folks who have set up their own peaceful, well-run, emergency shelter!?

Why are we hassling, harassing and threatening with a arrest people who will exist - and deserve to exist - *somehere*? Day after day that is a violent and traumatic experience. Why are we wasting numerous tax dollars on this pointless and cruel police response (and on the police in general...)?
