"On the evening of March 8, three Black students were brutalized by UCPD walking home from campus."
"One of the UC Berkeley students was thrown to the ground, arrested, and brought to UCPD for interrogation."
-From the CAL Black Student Union Press Release
This is completely unacceptable. If police brutality or racial profiling occurred, the officers involved should be held accountable, and at a minimum, be fired.
Berkeley Copwatch will be reaching out to the CAL Black Student Union and the students involved, and fight for justice.
