Then they can set up the tents for a few hours then start all over again. Here There has been a model of what the best, most supportive camp culture can look like. How dare the city send in police to act like thugs whose job is to disrupt and destroy any chance of stability in these peoples' lives. Unbelievably poor leadership from mayor and most councilmembers.
The video linked below shows city workers and police stopping by to the Here/There camp to tell everyone that they must not obstruct the sidewalk, and that tents must go down during the day.
