Racist Disparities in Policing Confirmed in Berkeley

The official release of the Center for Policing Equity report for Berkeley Police was a good presentation but nothing surprising: Black people are 20x as likely to have force used against them as white people in Berkeley. They are 6x more likely to be stopped, more likely to be searched, etc. Sadly, it has taken YEARS to get the Berkeley Police and the City of Berkeley to look at the issue.

Now that that science verifies the "disparities" what do we do? Looks like Berkeley is poised to wait for several more years before any meaningful action will be taken... It is outrageous.
