The City of Berkeley Must Defund the Police
City Council will vote on "urgent measures" to address police conduct. ITS NOT ENOUGH! Defund the police. We have waited for TWO YEARS just to get the police to revise their Use of Force policy. The leadership of the department and the City Manager have delayed and denied the need for change. These weak measures don't even scratch the surface of the problem. DEFUND BERKELEY POLICE. Care NOT Cops!
